"Thorns and Grace" comes from the idea that things that weaken us (Thorns) are to be embraced, because it is when we bring nothing to the table, God accomplishes His greatest work in and through us. After all, while God may in fact be excellent at doing difficult things, God's true specialty is in accomplishing the impossible.
This insight has been defining to my life as a young adult, and seems more true now than ever before.
